East London Line Phase 2

Backlock provided Signalling Project Engineering services for the infrastructure controller to deliver complex engineering alterations to provide the final part of London’s orbital railway.

Southern Signalling Enhancements – Sussex

Providing signalling engineering and multidiscipline engineering management on a portfolio of signalling enhancement projects. The work included provision of document management and control expertise and of signalling engineering resources to support a range of projects from Network Rail GRIP stages 3 to 8.

Southern Signalling Enhancements – Anglia

Backlock supported the Infrastructure Controller with a range of signalling schemes, our expertise helped to deliver, assure and control a portfolio of signalling enhancement projects.

Thameslink KO 2

Backlock provided signalling project engineering resource to support the Thameslink signalling schedule.

Midcalder Signalling Enhancements and MCB (OD) renewal

Backlock independently verified GRIP 5 signalling design deliverables as part of supporting the client with the project.

Network Rail Infrastructure Projects Southern

Working with Network Rail IP Southern to achieve engineering approvals, coordinate multidisciplinary engineering delivery and helping and assisting Network Rail’s suppliers to deliver signalling projects.

Kier Construction

Working with Kier to Independently Verify GRIP 4 and GRIP 5 signalling design details for major projects on Network Rail's Anglia and Sussex routes. This work included extensive changes to relay interlockings and new and altered power feeders interfacing to the E&P discipline.
